Blackpool striker Luke Varney claims the Seasiders can't wait for Saturday's trip to Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Despite the Blues' 100 per cent start to the season, Varney believes Blackpool will go to Stamford Bridge full of confidence after the 2-0 weekend triumph at Newcastle United.

Under manager Ian Holloway, Blackpool have collected seven points from their opening four games in the top-flight and, although he expects a tough test in the capital, Varney hopes they can spring another surprise this time around.

"We spoke before about what we wanted from these two games and, to be honest, I'd have taken a point from Newcastle but we can go to Chelsea now and enjoy ourselves," he said.

"We are going to go there with the same attitude, the same group, the same togetherness.

"We're achieving a lot more than everyone was expecting so we'll be full of confidence and who knows what will happen?
